An important part of an Air Traffic Control Officer’s work is to train new recruits on the job – an apprenticeship that can take months. They take on an essential role of mentor and coach and this course will refresh their skills and update their knowledge in that role. It will enhance their teaching and communication skills to make them not just better instructors but also better performing Air Traffic Control Officers. Participants exchange experiences through involvement in discussions and exercises. The OTJI Refresher Course can be conducted at Entry Point North or at the customer’s own premises depending on what the customer prefers.
