The course provides experienced On-the-Job Training Instructors with refresher training, reviewing, highlighting and reinforcing the knowledge and techniques used for successful on-the-job training.

The aim of this course is to reassess, emphasize and, in some areas, strengthen the knowledge and techniques achieved in the original OJTI-course. Therefore, the course invites the active involvement of the participants.

In addition to instructor-led presentations, the participants are expected to analyse different topics and to participate in and facilitate small working groups.

For example, the exchange of participant ATC or AFIS experience has proved to be an important positive feature of the course conducted for ATS on job training instructors. Eurocontrol recommends that this course should be taken by suitably qualified ATCOs or AFIS OJTI personnel at least every 3 years.

The OTJI Refresher Course can be conducted at Entry Point North or at the customer’s own premises depending upon the customer’s preference.

This course has been approved by the national Regulators in Denmark, Norway and Sweden and is compliant with the corresponding course delivered by Eurocontrol.
