Entry Point North offers English Aviation Proficiency test (TEA), certified according to ICAO standards, authorised by the Swedish Transport Agency and Civil Aviation Department. The privilege of this authorisation is to conduct an aviation language assessment of personnel with an R/T privilege in accordance with the requirements laid down in ICAO. The test is conducted by authorised English language assessors.

Motivation?

Since March 2008 it has become mandatory for all ATC personnel and pilots to demonstrate their ability to speak and understand the language used for radiotelephony communications.

What does the test consists of?

The test takes approximately 30 minutes and consists of the following parts:

•          short presentation
•          audio samples
•          visual description
•          questions 

The authorised assessors evaluate the pronunciation, structure, vocabulary, fluency, comprehension and interaction.

After the evaluation and grading by the authorised assessor, the test-taker will receive a written evaluation with the descriptors of the rating scale.

For individuals: If you wish to book a test, please choose and complete the appropriate form below.
The form will be sent to englishtest@trynorth.com and you will receive a confirmation email regarding your booking within maximum 2 working days.

Form 1: For individuals without a corporate agreement.

Form 2: For individuals with a corporate agreement.

Once you have completed and submitted the form a confirmation email from Entry Point North will follow, specifying the date and time when your test has been booked.
