The APS (Approach Control Surveillance) module is designed to impart skills and knowledge to students to handle traffic in approach and departure sectors with the help of radar.

Most of the effort is focused on simulator work where a generic airspace has been specially designed for the task.

Theoretical events are followed by practical applications in simulator. Simulator training is devided into two parts In which the level of difficulty is gradually increased and special exercises focus on emergencies and unusual events.
